PLS Seals

Our premium performance product is the PTFE LINED SEAL (PLS) with which we have been associated for >24 years in UK, taking the basic seal technology & developing both the product design concepts & manufacturing processes to suit the needs of Motor Sport customers.

The PLS Seal is a composite Oil Seal of more conventional style having a PTFE-based (Teflon^TM) facing material bonded onto the dynamic seal lips. Offering >50% reduction in friction compared to most other oil seal types, in some applications the frictional benefits may exceed 80%.

PLS Seals are race-proven & are particularly suited to higher speed applications such as Crankshaft Seals or any application where higher efficiency is required. PLS Seals run much cooler than most other seal types, create less degradation of the lubricant film & less wear of the shaft.

The PLS Seal technology can be extended to be used in most rotary & reciprocating seal applications, including Engines, Transmissions, & Chassis seals & are particularly suited for use with softer shaft materials.

HD2 Seals

Our second performance product is our HD2 SEAL which incorporates a highly efficient Bi-Directional Hydrodynamic feature. Association with this product extends back over 30 years. We the HD2 Seal to be probably the best Bi-Directional Hydrodynamic Oil Seal available. With dynamic friction reduction upto 25%, & cooler running, the HD2 Seal is well suited to Engine & Transmission applications & also to the plunging shaft dynamics found on drive shaft applications.
