CVJ Seals & Boots

Our first compact CVJ Seals were designed in the early 1990's for Formula 1 driveshafts.

These were designed to sit & operate in close proximity to the trilobe joint & with minimum intrusion into the air stream. This enabled the aero specialists to design fairings that could run closer to the transmission casing producing better control of the air flow under the race car.

Modern seal design concepts used in conjuntion with low hysteresis materials have allowed sufficient flexibility to accept large amounts of angular movement, centre line offsets, & driveshaft dynamics.

Our CVJ Seals can be custom-designed to meet the needs of any driveshaft application subject only to the physical constraints within the trilobe joint assembly.
